Pohoda FEST on the banks of Strahov Pond in the village of Chýně is not only a celebration of original music and good food, but primarily a celebration of community life and a source of help for those in need, as all partner donations as well as the proceeds from voluntary visitor contributions will go to charitable purposes.

 This year we are helping David, a little boy who was diagnosed with Ohtahara syndrome, encephalopathy with epilepsy due to SCN2A gene mutation, severe hypotonia, and significantly delayed development. David needs 24/7 care.

David requires 24/7 care and cannot be left unattended. He often sleeps during the day and is active at night. He cannot sit, crawl, or walk, only sometimes rolls over on his tummy, but cannot roll back over. He is slowly training his head posture, but manages only during neurorehabilitation, dressed in a special suite under the supervision of a physiotherapist.

The family would like to raise as much money as possible for little David for further neurorehabilitation, for occupational therapy, his favorite hippotherapy, acupuncture, craniosacral stimulation, for the purchase of rehabilitation aids. Simply anything that the health insurance company will not cover, but that will help David make slow steps forward.
